Samantha Markham is a professional freelance writer from the U.K. She has a B.A. (hons) in Drama and English Literature; a degree which had particular emphasis on the work of Shakespeare.

Since graduating, she has been writing non-fiction material for various sources, including feminist magazine, Panorama, and a whole host of websites. She has also written and co-written a number of short stories and novels.

Additionally, she has penned several theatrical works, one of which, The Group Session, was produced at Yale University, in 2009. She has a wide range of interests, but, perhaps unsurprisingly, she is predominantly focused on subjects of a theatrical and literary nature.

Samantha has recently created a blog entitled 'What's It All About, Shakespeare?', which aims to demystify the Bard of Avon's work, while sharing her enthusiasm for the world's most famous playwright.

The first ebook to accompany the blog, What's It All About, Shakespeare? An Introduction To The Bard Of Avon is now available.
